Dedicated To The Sport At 6 Years Old!

Hayden Arend appears to be a chip off his uncle's block. At only six years old he is already a master angler posing here with his 45 pound hen king salmon taken during the third week of July on the Kasilof River while drift boat fishing with his uncle Jon Arend. He's not a sniveler either and will fish all day without giving up hope that there is a fish out there with his name on it. The waiting paid off with a fish that will truly be one to remember...and brag about.

Jon says the second run this year was quite decent with a lot of nice size fish showing up every day he fished the river.
