Second Run of Kenai River Coho Arrive!
9/16/99....This morning happened by accident. Loren Flagg decided it was time to pull his boat out of the river for the season, but with the morning tides being very good, who could pass up one final quick shot at silvers on the Kenai. So he called up George Holly at the Holly House and invited him and a couple guests to go out for a "quickie" just to see if the second run was showing up yet....and help pull his boat and shuttle vehicles.
It was a short trip, starting at 9:30am and fishing only til noon when they pulled the boat. But from the time they put their hooks in the water to the time they pulled anchor, there was steady action up and down the line.
