Marylin's Halibut Tacos
OK but don't laugh! This unique way of serving up halibut for your family or guests will become a hit just as soon as they try it.
A lot of people turned up their noses when I first made these but EVERYBODY wanted more after they tried them!
- Cut fish into finger size pieces.
- Mix flour, garlic, and beer to make a smooth batter.
- Dip fish in batter and fry in hot oil (350-375 degrees) until golden brown.
- Drain and set aside.
- Meanwhile, mix mayo and yogurt together.
- Warm up tortillas in microwave.
- Assemble Tacos as follows:
- Place some shredded cabbage in center of
tortilla.
- Add fish pieces, and a heaping tablespoon of the mayo mixture.
- Top with salsa and a squeeze of fresh lime.
