Marylin's Clam Fritters

  • Put all ingredients in bowl.
  • Beat until fairly smooth.
  • Add 2 cups of chopped fresh clams or 2 cans of drained clams.
  • Drop by tablespoonfuls into hot oil, about 360° F.
  • Cook until browned, turning once.
  • Drain on paper towel before serving.
    If you don't have beer, you can use milk as a substitute.
