Marylin's Broiled Shrimp with Garlic Butter

  • Shell the uncooked shrimp, leaving tails on. Split down back and remove sand vein.
  • Wash under cold water and dry.
  • Preheat broiler to highest temperature.
  • In baking dish, melt butter, then add lemon juice, onion, garlic and pepper.
  • Add shrimp and broil 3-4 inches from heat for 5 minutes.
  • Turn and broil 5 minutes on other side.
  • Serve on platter with parsley and juices from pan (strained).
