Tip #54 LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!

On rare occasions I spot something in an email that has some true value. And as soon as I spotted this "redneck" toilet paper roll hanger, I knew what the next AOJ Outdoor Tip was going to be. This contraption is an ideal campers and bushwhacking hikers tool for keeping your most prized position neat and orderly as well as very handy. Its made from a common coat hanger reshaped into the appropriate configuration for holding a roll of TP securely in place. The hook allows for hanging on just about anything - bushes, branches, string, rope, etc.

What I want to add to this tip is a method for keeping your roll dry in case of rain. By slipping a Folgers or Yuban PLASTIC coffee can over the end of the roll, you have a ready made rain cover for the paper that is easy to slide off by springing the roll to the side of the frame momentarily. Trim the length of the coffee can with a knife if necessary to fit your particular framework.
