Ninilchik Halibut Derby

This derby is sponsored by the Ninilchik Chamber of Commerce and will run from Father's Day to Labor Day. All fish will be weighed in at Deep Creek Sport Shop, Mile Post 137 Sterling Highway. Tickets can be purchased at many of the charter operations and local businesses.

Derby Date: Father's Day to Labor Day

Ticket Cost: $5 per day or $20 per week (7 days)
Grand Prize: $2,500 cash + Halibut Tail Mount donated by Ninilchik Fish Mounts
Second Place: $1000
Weekly Prize (largest halibut of the week): $100
