A Note About the Charts: Our Southeast Alaska fishing information is based on the historical records of past salmon runs or other angler effort statistics. For the Situk River all the daily counts for previous years have been averaged to create a general RUN TIMING chart for this stream's King Salmon and Sockeye Salmon fisheries. Individual years can and will vary to some extent from the average depicted in these charts but for vacation planning its best to use information that has "smoothed out" the extremes that can occur.
