Using the information on this chart: The Sonar counter on the Copper River is located at the outlet of Miles Lake, about 70 miles downstream from the Chitina Dipnet Fishery. It takes approximately 2 weeks for salmon to travel this distance, but this is highly variable depending on the water level.
