If you have a boat and play in Kachemak Bay or just like to spend time in the outdoors around Anchor Point and Homer, this map is a gold mine of information, especially the identification of all salmon run species present in every stream draining into the bay. There are several local ferry and charter boats in Homer which will shuttle people to various destinations across the bay so they can engage is hiking the many trails established in Kachemak Bay State Park. These drop-off trips are becoming more popular each year and arrangements can be made for a scheduled pickup day and location too.
